Orientation & Overview

We will meet in front of Pacific Grill Restaurant Thursday afternoon on the 20th

at 4:30-4:45pm and have an early dinner and group Meet n’ Greet, so that everyone has a chance to get to know one another and we’re able to discuss the itinerary.

The restaurant is conveniently located inside the hotel.

We will begin the workshop immediately following the orientation Thursday 6/20 in the evening with scouting and a sunset shoot at Mount St. Helens.

Friday 6/21 we will shoot sunrise, and then processing session (depending on weather),  sunset scout/shoot again at St. Helens from a different vantage point, with possible Milky Way at night (depending on weather).

Saturday 6/22 will be focused primarily on processing training (depending on weather),

and then a sunset shoot. Should we encounter any days with steady rain, we will plan on shooting nearby waterfalls in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

The workshop will conclude on Sunday 6/23 mid-late morning after shooting sunrise at St. Helens. We will be flexible during these dates regarding locations, going where the weather looks optimal.
